TRAFFIC TICKET DEFENSE

Our primary objective when defending your traffic ticket case is to keep it off of your driving record and to do so in an economical fashion.

On September 1, 2003, the Texas Legislature enacted The Driver Responsibility Law which substantially increased the penalties for traffic tickets. Due to the possibility of fines and court costs, increased insurance rates, and a driver license suspension, traffic tickets can be very expensive and time consuming.

If an outright dismissal is not available, we will work very hard to get the ticket dismissed through deferred adjudication. If you comply with the conditions of the deferred adjudication, the ticket will not affect your driving record nor result in increased insurance premiums. The usual conditions of deferred adjudication require a payment to the court and no additional traffic violations for a probationary period. In addition to trying our hardest to get you deferred adjudication, we will also strive to negotiate a fine reduction.

We handle traffic tickets issue throughout Dallas, Collin, Tarrant and Rockwall Counties. More specifically we handle tickets in the following cities: Addison, Allen, Arlington, Balch Springs, Carrollton, DeSoto, Fairview, Farmers Branch, Frisco, Garland, Irving, Lewisville, Mesquite, McKinney, Plano, Richardson, Rockwall, Rowlett, Sunnyvale, and Wilmer.

The prices and procedures vary from city to city and depending on the alleged offenses. Our legal fees are very reasonable and we accept payment plans on a case by case basis. We understand that most budgets do not allow for traffic tickets.

On City of Dallas tickets, we charge $50 per offense. If more than 21 days have elapsed since the date of issuance of the ticket, then the ticket is either late or is in warrant status. For warrants or past due tickets, there is an additional $25 charge per offense. For City of Dallas Class C Misdemeanors other than traffic tickets and which are not in warrant status, such as Public Intoxication, Minors in Possession,or Class C Assualts, we charge $125.
